We were delighted when Stamps took up residency at the hub

as they produce top quality real ales, and they are a lovely group of folk who are passionate about the vital role pubs play in communities. Having an on-site micro-brewery also means our carbon footprint is practically zero as once the beer is ready, we simply ‘roll them over’ the field to the Lock & Quay! Stamps have been brewing since 2013, supplying the jointly-owned Stamps Bar in Crosby, with any spare capacity being sold in local bars. They brew a maximum of 4.5 barrels (36 gallons) per session and pride themselves on their beer being environmentally friendly with all of the used grain being taken to a local city farm where it is fed to 'grateful' pigs!
They also offer a bespoke service providing private label bottled lager and bitter - generic beers that the client can label with their own branding. Whether you are looking for a unique ‘Wedding Day’ brew or an unusual corporate marketing tool.
